For a group of six or seven, the Cadillac Escalade ESV Sport Platinum is the seven-seat SUV in our fleet; for up to five people, the two Mercedes-Benz G550s, Range Rover P530 SE, Bentley Bentayga, Lamborghini Urus and Rolls-Royce Cullinan all seat five; and the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 seats four, with two individually reclining rear seats. Luggage is the part that changes the answer, because cargo space differs a lot from one SUV to the next. This guide is for anyone planning a luxury SUV rental in Boston with luggage, and it shows how to size your trip so you pick the right vehicle before you book.
Daily rates exclude 6.25% Massachusetts sales tax and other fees; current rates are on our [pricing page](/pricing). Every rental is self-drive.
SUVs in the fleet, by seats
| SUV | Seats | Daily rate | 3 days (after 15% off) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cadillac Escalade ESV Sport Platinum | 7 | $499 | $1,272 |
| Mercedes-Benz G550 (2015) | 5 | $499 | $1,272 |
| Range Rover P530 SE | 5 | $699 | $1,782 |
| Mercedes-Benz G550 (2021) | 5 | $799 | $2,037 |
| Bentley Bentayga | 5 | $999 | $2,547 |
| Lamborghini Urus | 5 | $1,499 | $3,822 |
| Rolls-Royce Cullinan | 5 | $1,599 | $4,077 |
| Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 | 4 | $1,499 | $3,822 |
The three-day column is daily rate times three, less 15% (for example 499 × 3 = 1,497, × 0.85 = 1,272, rounded). Each day includes 100 miles, pooled across the whole rental. Extra miles are $5 per mile, except the Cullinan at $10 per mile.
Availability depends on your dates, so a car is confirmed only when we confirm it for your dates.
Luxury SUV rental in Boston with luggage: the seats-versus-bags rule
Bags ride in the cargo area behind the last row, so the question is not only how many seats a car has but how much space sits behind them. More people usually means more bags competing for the same space. That is why "seats" and "luggage space" should always be read together.
We don't quote a suitcase count, because bags vary too much in shape and size for a number to mean much. Instead of guessing, use this approach.
Size your trip in four steps
- Count people. How many adults, and are any in the back row for the whole trip?
- Count bags by type. Large checked suitcases, carry-ons, backpacks, golf bags, strollers, coolers.
- Note the awkward items. Hard-shell cases and strollers take more space than their weight suggests.
- Send us the list with your dates. We confirm which vehicle fits before you commit, rather than leaving you to find out at pickup.
Which SUV for which group
Up to five people. The 2015 G550 ($499 per day) is the lowest rate among the five-seaters, followed by the Range Rover P530 SE ($699), the 2021 G550 ($799) and the Bentayga ($999). All four seat five. If you are bringing more than carry-ons, send us your bag list and we will tell you which one fits.
Six or seven people. The Escalade ESV Sport Platinum ($499 per day) is the seven-seat option. The Escalade seats seven and its third row is fully usable. As with any seven-seater, using every seat leaves much less cargo room, so send us your bag list with your dates and we will confirm it fits.
Luxury first, groups second. The Urus ($1,499) and Cullinan ($1,599) also seat five. Send us your bag list before choosing either, and see our Urus vs. Cullinan comparison for how the two differ.
Four people who want the best back seat. The Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 ($1,499) seats four: two individually reclining Executive rear seats with footrests and rear screens replace the usual bench. It is the pick when the passengers matter more than the head count.
Questions to ask before you choose
- How many people are riding, and how many bags is each person bringing?
- Are any bags oversized, such as golf clubs, hard-shell cases or a stroller?
- Is this an airport run where bags arrive at once, or several short trips?
- Do you need the highest seat count, or the most comfortable ride for four?
Your answers decide whether a five-seat SUV is enough or you need the seven-seat Escalade, and whether the extra daily rate of a Bentayga is worth it over a Range Rover or a G550. Rates for each are in the table above.
Small details that matter on the day
- Pickup or delivery: we deliver to your home or hotel. The Escalade ESV, Urus and Cullinan can be delivered to all eight states we serve (Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire and Rhode Island), while the G550s, Range Rover, Bentayga and Maybach GLS 600 are delivered in Massachusetts only. Delivery is measured from our Revere location: the first 10 miles are free, then $2.50 per mile each way, and rentals of three days or more are delivered free. You can load and test-fit your bags at handover.
- Airport arrivals: if you are flying in with luggage, see our Logan Airport delivery page for how that works.
- Winter: the Escalade and both G550s have four-wheel drive and the rest have all-wheel drive, but neither ensures winter traction, and we do not promise snow performance. Ask about tires for your dates.
- Second driver: free, approved in advance, listed on the agreement and 21 or older.
