What does it actually cost to rent a Lamborghini Urus?

A Lamborghini Urus rents for $1,499 per day at Bluebell Exotics in Boston, and a two-day weekend with fuel, tax and mileage over the allowance comes to about $3,600 all in — plus a refundable security hold that isn't a charge but does occupy your credit limit until the car is back and inspected.

You'll also find the Urus listed online for several hundred dollars less. A national broker, Veluxity, lists Urus rentals at $1,095 per day with Boston service, as listed on their Boston page as of August 14, 2026. Both numbers are real. They just aren't prices for the same thing — and the difference is exactly the part no "how much to rent a Lamborghini Urus" page bothers to explain. So here is the whole bill, line by line, from the local company you'd actually be renting from.

What does a Lamborghini Urus rent for per day?

At Bluebell Exotics, the Lamborghini Urus — Lamborghini's 641-horsepower, five-seat super-SUV — is $1,499 per day. Here's where that sits on our own rate card, so you can see what the number means rather than take it on faith. Rates below are our published day rates as of 2026-08-19, across the full 15-listing fleet — which runs from $299 to $1,599 a day. That's the point of showing the whole ladder: the Urus's rate is a position on it, not a number on its own.

Two readings worth taking from that table.

The Urus prices at the top of the supercar tier, not above it. Same rate as the Huracán, the 570S Spider, the GT3 and the Rolls-Royce Dawn. You are not paying an SUV premium or a Lamborghini premium; you're choosing between five very different cars at one price. The Urus is simply the one you can take four passengers and a weekend's luggage in. One rate covers two very different Urus. Two are available: a matte-gray car with a green-and-black interior, and a black-on-black car upgraded with a Stage 2 performance tune and performance exhaust — quoted at 800 hp against the factory 641. Both are $1,499 per day — pick a colour, not a price tier. (And if you're browsing everything with a raging bull on the nose that we rent in Boston, start with the full fleet.)

Why is one Urus $1,095 and another $1,499?

Because the two listings sell different products. The $1,095 figure above is a broker rate: a national booking site that advertises cars in dozens of cities — that one Boston page lists six different Urus, model years 2018 through 2021 — and sources a vehicle when you book. The $1,499 figure is a local company's direct rate: the company quoting you is the company that writes your rental agreement, holds your deposit, hands you the keys and answers the phone mid-rental — and the car is already in the metro where you're renting it.

Neither model is wrong. But the receipt behaves differently, and before you book the cheaper listing you should be able to answer five questions:

1. Who are you actually contracting with? With a local company, one company quotes you, signs the agreement, holds the deposit and supports you for the whole rental. Through a national broker, the booking site and the party supplying the car are two different businesses, and the second one is usually not named until late.
2. Whose contract do you sign, and who holds your deposit? Direct: one company, one agreement, one hold. Brokered: the paperwork and the deposit can sit with a party other than the site that took your booking.
3. What's the all-in number? A headline rate means little until you know the included mileage, the per-mile overage, delivery, and fees. Get every one in writing before comparing.
4. Who shows up if something goes wrong at 9 p.m. on a Saturday? With a local company, the answer is the person who handed you the keys.
5. Can you see the actual car — this VIN, this colour, this model year, this condition — before you commit? Six listings at one price are six different answers to that question.

What are the line items on the real bill?

Every charge that can appear on a Lamborghini Urus rental, in order.

1. Base daily rate — $1,499

Almost always a 24-hour period, not a calendar day — and multi-day bookings don't scale linearly, so don't multiply the headline by seven. Weekend days cost the same as weekdays; the discounts start at three days, and the worked bill below shows what that does to a weekend.

2. Booking deposit — $500, refundable until a week out

A $500 booking deposit secures a Bluebell Exotics reservation and is applied to your balance. More than 7 days before your start date it's 100% refundable; within 7 days it isn't refundable, but the booking can be rescheduled. If severe weather stops the rental going ahead, the deposit carries over to a future booking. The balance and the security hold are settled before the rental begins.

3. Mileage and overage — where cheap rentals get expensive

Every rental includes 100 miles per rental day. Beyond that allowance, a Bluebell Exotics Urus bills at $5 per mile. That number is published on our own site — a very small club: almost no Boston-area rental company publishes an overage rate at all. (Fleet footnote: only the Rolls-Royce Cullinan carries a higher rate, at $10 per mile.)

Do the arithmetic before you pick a route, because at $5/mi every 50 miles past your allowance adds $250 — and the Urus is precisely the car that invites long routes. Boston to Provincetown and back is about 230 miles; the Kancamagus loop runs past 300. Check your included allowance against your route before you book, not after — on a super-SUV built for road trips, route choice is a pricing decision.

4. Security deposit — a hold, not a charge

Every rental requires a refundable security deposit, collected before the rental begins: $2,000 with valid insurance, $10,000 without. What sets it is your insurance position — not which car you pick. Bluebell initiates the release within 24 hours of the post-rental inspection, provided the car comes back without excess mileage or damage; how fast it clears from there is up to your bank. Tolls and citations that arrive later are invoiced separately rather than held against the deposit. It isn't money spent, but it is credit limit occupied while the rental runs. Budget your card accordingly.

5. Delivery

Self-pickup is at 650 Ocean Ave, Revere, MA, and Bluebell Exotics delivers across Massachusetts and into NY, NJ, CT, ME, NH, VT and RI. Delivery runs on three tiers: free within 10 miles of our Revere location; free beyond 10 miles when the rental is 3 days or longer; $2.50 per mile otherwise. The same terms apply to every state on that list, Maine included.

6. Fuel — premium only

Return the car at the fuel level you got it at. Come back short and there's a flat refueling charge: $100 if it left with a full tank, $50 if it left with less. The Urus's twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 drinks premium — required, not suggested — and it's a 4,800-pound SUV, so budget in the ballpark of $70–$75 for a typical 200-mile weekend at Massachusetts premium prices (about $5.09 a gallon as of August 2026), and fill it before you hand the keys back.

7. Insurance, and the credit-card trap

You can rent either way. The standard route is your own full-coverage policy with $100,000 / $300,000 / $50,000 liability minimums plus comprehensive and collision at the vehicle's actual cash value; renters who can't clear that bar rent on the $10,000 security deposit instead. Credit-card rental coverage alone doesn't clear that bar either: most premium cards cap or exclude exotics outright, and a Urus stickers at $200,000 and up when new, past the MSRP ceilings named in card exclusion lists. 8. Massachusetts tax

Sales tax applies at 6.25% on the rental. On top of that, state law adds a flat $2 per-rental police training surcharge under G.L. c.90 §32E⅞ that applies statewide — and Boston and Revere each add their own $10 municipal vehicle-rental surcharge on top of that. That means a Boston or Revere pickup adds $12 in surcharges, not $2. Bluebell Exotics is based in Revere, so every self-pickup rental carries that $10 Revere surcharge by default; a delivery elsewhere within Boston carries the $10 Boston surcharge instead. Under M.G.L. c.90 §32E¾, any surcharge must be disclosed separately from the base rate — an "all-in" quote with no surcharge line either absorbs it or hasn't told you yet.

9. Late return

At Bluebell Exotics: free to 15 minutes, $250 per hour from 15 minutes to 2 hours, and a full additional day beyond 2 hours. If a late return costs the next customer their booking, the lost rental income can land on you too — bring it back on time.

What does a real two-day Urus weekend cost?

A worked example using Bluebell Exotics' published numbers: a Saturday–Sunday Urus rental with a North Shore coastal run thrown in, ending 60 miles past the included allowance, collected yourself in Revere rather than delivered. (A two-day booking outside the 10-mile ring would add delivery at $2.50 a mile; three days or more and it's free.)

So an advertised $1,499/day becomes roughly $1,800/day all-in for that weekend. That all-in figure — not the headline — is the number to compare against any other listing, including the $1,095 one.

And that weekend misses the discounts, which start at three days. Three days takes 15% off, seven days 20%, a month 50%, and weekend days aren't priced above weekdays. The same booking stretched to three days goes from $2,998 to $4,497 at list — but 15% brings it to $3,822, so the third day costs $824 instead of $1,499, and delivery beyond the 10-mile ring stops being billed at the same time.

What changes the price?

Season. May through October is New England's exotic-rental season, and summer Saturdays go first. The Urus is the one car on the rate card that doesn't really have an off-season problem: all-wheel drive, five seats and a boot mean it still makes sense for a foliage run in late October or a winter event, when a rear-drive convertible simply doesn't.

Duration. Length is the one lever entirely in your hands, and the three-day arithmetic above is the whole of it. The step from two days to three is the one worth planning around — it also flips delivery beyond the 10-mile ring from billed to free.

Day of week. Friday and Saturday are the constrained days. A Wednesday Urus is a different market from a Saturday one.

Which Urus — and which Lamborghini. Elsewhere, rates climb with the trim tier: a Urus S or Performante lists above a standard Urus wherever you find one.
